A well-known company that is leading in the management of chronic conditions through its technological solution Semler Scientific, is reported to be purchasing $21.5 million worth of Bitcoins in line with the long-term financial plan of the company. This is one of the long-term commitments to the BTC treasury program. The company launched the program a few months ago in 2024. The company has calculated that it will buy 211 Bitcoins with an average value of $101,890, totaling a value of $21.5 million. In this purchase, Semler Scientific has also demonstrated impressive growth in Bitcoin yield, reporting a quarterly yield of 67.0%, thereby raising its total yield to 92.8% since the implementation of the BTC treasury plan in May 2024. Semler’s Bitcoin Push Has Increased the Number of Shares The company’s Bitcoin strategy, which presently involves 2,084 BTC bought at a cost of $168.6 million, shows the increasing trend toward cryptocurrency as a significant portion of its capital markets strategy. This is particularly momentous for a company focused on chronic illness technology solutions, as it actively pursues diversification. Semler Scientific increased its maximum available shares under the at-the-market (ATM) offering to $150 million. This change took effect as of December 16, 2024. The firm had achieved $100 million by December 13, 2024. In addition, it entered an agreement with Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. to use a Controlled Equity Offering.
